Free version of Pushkin's famous little tragedy "Mozart and Salieri", written by the poet in 1830. Many, as you know, were embarrassed by the thought that Pushkin had not slandered Salieri, attributing to him the poisoning of Mozart. This question caused considerable controversy, but in 1997 a trial took place in Milan, where Antonio Salieri was acquitted.
