The performance was based on one of the textbook "little tragedies" of the poet "Mozart and Salieri", as well as the historical meeting of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin with Emperor Nicholas I, who had just ascended the throne. The meeting made the author of the legend about the poisoning of the great composer a universally recognized classic of Russian literature.
Balancing between reality and fiction in the poet's imagination will serve as the basis for a special game genre of the play.
“With great excitement, not for the first time, I touch Pushkin. Meetings with his literature, life, always bring some special professional experience,” says Roman Gabria, stage director of the play.
