When Stepan Nikolayevich Trebuntsov, a provincial Russian actor, broke up with his wife, Lena Ruchimskaya, some strange streak began in his life. Saved only by funny dreams, in which memories of the past and unrealized dreams were mixed. In this world, the motifs of "Garnet Bracelet" by A. Kuprin and "The Matrix" by the Wachowski brothers paradoxically collide.
